Blush and Bronzers

Step Six
Your Blush or Bronzer

Sun Kissed bronzer... a beautiful illusion...

Using a blush or bronzer will add light to and brighten your face. Bronzers are especially nice as they usually come in three shades in the same compact and will give you the ability to do a little contouring in puffy areas if you need it. They are also nice as almost all skin tones can wear the same color. For blush choose a soft pink shade for light skin, medium pink for beige skin and a dark rose or plum for bronze skin.

Powders will work the best for this application.

With a clean brush pick up enough blush or bronzer to apply to the cheekbone and bring it toward the nose area stopping 2 finger in. You're actually making a sweeping motion. When you begin in the cheekbone area, you highlight the eye area. This will be important as your eyes will be the focal point of your face. For a healthy glow you can take what color is left on the brush a lightly go across your forehead and down your nose. If you are using the contouring color in the bronzer, use it sparingly in the hollows of your cheeks and along the jaw line.

With a cotton ball remove any excess or use a clean brush and gently dust in a downward motion.

Brushes need to be washed frequently with a mild soap and air dried (no hair dryers). Never use anyone else's brushes due of the risk of infection.
