Your Eyebrows

Here's a fun fact... All the beautiful pictures of the early Hollywood Starlettes, surprisingly, most of those glamorious women had their eyebrows shaved. It took 3 to 4 hours to get the makeup ready to be picture perfect. Don't worry, it won't take you that long here.

Thinning or loosing your eyebrows is easily corrected when you learn a few simple tricks. You need a few important tools and you will be on your way.

You will need:

A GOOD eye definer eyebrow pencil slightly darker than your hair or wig color. We do not recommend powder as perspiration can cause it to come off whereas, the pencil should not.

To find your natural brow line...

Hold the pencil vertically next to your nose parallel to the inside corner of your eye. Place a DOT at the beginning of your brow bone.

Now take the pencil and place it at the outside bottom of your nostril and at an angle across your pupil and up to the highest point of your eyebrow. Place another DOT there.

Take the pencil and hold it diagonally from the outside edge of the nostril across to the outside edge of your eye. Place another DOT there.

With the eyebrow pencil start at the top arch of your eye (where you put the middle DOT) and draw a thin line down to the DOT you drew first at the beginning of your eyebrow. Then go to the outside DOT and draw a thin line up to the middle arch DOT. You now have a frame of reference.

Make feathery strokes up to recreate you eyebrow look remembering to taper it on the ends. A picture of yourself is sometimes helpful as a point of reference.

You can go over your eyebrows with a soft brush or the end of the pencil or a clean small applicator.

Powder can be used to set the pencil if you wish.
