Step Seven
Mascara
Mascara makes your lashes look fuller, longer and lovely. Try not to use “waterproof” as it is very difficult to remove. Always remove your eye makeup every night with a gentle oil free remover. Mascara should be replaced every three months. If you have been sick replace it so you do not re-infect yourself and never share your mascara with anyone to prevent infections.
Open the mascara and gently swirl the wand around to pick up enough product for your application. (Pumping the wand up and down in the tube dries out the mascara and it gets clumpy much sooner.) Before application use an eye lash curler if you wish. Holding the mascara wand horizontal start at the upper lash line squiggling the wand back and forth and the up to the tips of the lash. Two thin coats work much better than one thick coat. Also when applying hold your mouth open… you wont blink as much. Now do the lower lash. If you get a bit of mascara where you don’t want it… let it dry and you will be able to just flick it away and no smudges.
Our series of "movies" are in production. Each segment of our Makeup tutorials will be covered. Each step will be demonstrated. We're excited to offer these to you!
